Wearing Weaves Responsibly….
Ladies, ladies, ladies, we have got to do better. Let me start by saying I am all about hair and my appetite for different styles can never seem to ne satiated. I like, short, hair, long hair, wavy hair, big kinky curly hair, my hair, your hair, your mamas hair, Indian hair, Peruvian hair, ok so you get it, I love hair! BUT STOP! All hair just because it’s borrowed, does not belong on your head. Weaves and hair additions are all about that perfect match, you must must must match your texture with the texture of the hair you are borrowing. So that means no Chinese textured hair if your hair is “Amistad” textured. No white chalky glue serving as a strobe light on your forehead showcasing your lacefront. I think we forget the element of trickery that weaves and wigs are supposed to provide, always remember that people are supposed to, at the very least, wonder or think that this hair might be your hair. If you look like the pic below, no one will ever wonder:
Weaves can be pretty and give you a nice, natural look but let’s wear them responsibly ladies.
