Vogue Still Loves The Blacks

I told you this awhile ago and the Jem is never wrong about these such things.  Black people are the shizz in 2009!  Vogue magazine has once again put Black models on its cover.  For those who follow these things, you know this is a big friggin' deal!  This cover marks the third consecutive one to feature a Black celebrity or model.  In March, it was First Lady Michelle Obama.  In April, it was Beyonce.  And now, famed shutterbug Steven Meisel has snapped models Liya Kebede and Jourdan Dunn for the May cover (yeah, there are some other chicks on there too, but be honest, the sistas jump out at you!).  I happen to like it when models are on the covers of fashion magazines anyway (no offense, Mrs. O, your issue was fab!).  Let’s hope Vogue keeps it up!  I wonder if my man Andre Leon Talley had anything to do with this.
