"Katherine, Josh and Naleigh are together and doing well," Heigl's rep Melissa Cates told Us Weekly, which reports that Heigl and Kelley, who wed in December 2007, have been preparing for their special bundle of joy since late 2008.

They applied to adopt from Korea last year, and had to complete a 40-page questionnaire that mined their personal backgrounds and parenting philosophies before they could qualify.

"Katie and Josh were aware it could take years, so they were being patient," a source told Us Weekly.

Heigl tells the magazine she named her baby after her mother, Nancy, and sister, Margaret Leigh, who was also adopted from Korea.

The adorable adoptee, a special-needs child, "was actually born the day before me in November, which I thought was really serendipitous and just kind of like a sign," Heigl said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" last week.
