That WASN'T It

Michael Jackson's last hurrah is coming soon to a cable network near you, MTV to be exact.  The video network acquired the exclusive television rights to Jackson's "This Is It" film.  It'll be available to MTV for 6 years, beginning in 2011.  The deal includes all of MTV's domestic channels (like VH1) and also covers BET.  So far, the film has made nearly $227 million at the box office.

As much as I loved the movie, somehow I wanted to keep it as a special moment of movie magic and let it simmer and sizzle in the moonlight... but, I guess not.  I hope Blanket & 'nem can go to college on this money.
