Wrap It Up!

The CDC is out with new numbers on STDs and the news sho' is ugly.© 

There are about 19 million new sexually transmitted disease infections each year.  Half of those are among people 15-24 years of age.  The report focused on three STDs: chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis... all of which are on the come up!

Women are the majority of chlamydia and gonorrhea cases. Syphilis (I didn't even know people still got that...eww) jumped 36.4% in women.

Wrap it up folks!  STDs can lead to serious problems like pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility in women.
