Brew Bits: Marion Barry Gets The Finger From The DC Council

Washington, D.C. Council member and former city mayor Marion Barry was stripped of his chairman role and censured by the D.C. Council today.  Barry's currently under investigation for misusing taxpayer money by giving his girlfriend a contract, then taking $15,000 for himself from the deal.

I mean, hey, what's the point in having power if you can't smoke a little dope, get your girl a hookup and then skim a little off the top for yourself?  It's the American way!
