Hip Hop lost a legend Friday. WBLS DJ Mr. Magic suffered a fatal heart attack Friday at the age of 53. Mr. Magic (né John Rivas) launched and hosted the first all-rap radio show in America. "Rap Attack" debuted in 1983 on WBLS in New York. The show lasted 6 years and remains the stuff of hip hop legend (Every Saturday, Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl… - Notorious B.I.G. ^©).
