Today marks one year since Barack Obama took the helm as President of the United States. While there have certainly been some setbacks and hardships, you can't deny the living history this man represents.

Expectations for his presidency were very high last January, then the economy crashed even further, jobs and health care were lumped on his plate, plus terror fears and pushback from Congress. Pollsters say many Americans have grown weary of the "Yes We Can" president, causing his popularity to plummet. But, just one year into his term, how much were we expecting him to change in Washington?
