Louis Gossett, Jr. Battling Cancer

Some sad news at the Brew…

Oscar winner Louis Gossett, Jr. announced today that he's battling early stage prostate cancer. The 73 year old says he wants to be an example for Black men who have largely ignored or have not been told about the disease. Gossett says:

"I want to influence them to seek, as I have, the fine medical care and early detection now available."

We want to wish him good luck and Godspeed.
