Valentine's Day: What to wear

So Jem Jacobs-Dior is sitting in the airport, waiting on a delayed flight. Ah, the life of a fashion jetsetter! Don’ t they know she has a life to get back to? Anyway, Jem figured what better time than the present to tackle the eagerly anticipated question: what ever shall I wear for Valentines’s Day? Fear not my pretties… Jem has some solutions if your honey has special plans for you this Valentine’s Day. And don’t worry, Jem will not attempt to swaddle you in Deréon.

Have a look, my precious fashion fanatics.

This Victoria’s Secret Kimono Dress ($108) oozes sex appeal without screaming “I’m a slut.” It hugs all the right curves, which he’ll undoubtedly notice.

This sweetheart dress ($79), by Victoria’s Secret, is business in the front with serious drama in the back. What better way to leave an impression than when you walk OUT of the room?

If you didn’t get the memo, it’s a recession! This $48.90 frock by Maggie London is budget-friendly and cute.

If you’re more fashion-forward with a little money to burn, try these looks:
Trina Turk’s Petronia dress ($149)

LaRok’s Night Out dress ($248)

Catherine Malandrino’s belted gray dress ($247.50)

When all else fails, grab your LBD. That's little black dress for the newbies!
Strapless taffeta dress ($150)

Antonio Melani’s Blume dress ($101.40)

Studio M’s flutter sleeve wrap dress ($69.98)

We can’t forget our curvy girls. For a stunning look in a bold color, try this Madison Avenue Dress by Kiyonna ($132). Or, order it here in black, for less!

Donna Ricco’s High Society dress ($178). Ricco also designed the now famous sheath dress that First Lady Michelle Obama wore on “The View.”

Tallulah lace dress by Kiyonna ($178)

If you’re not leaving the bedroom this Valentine’s Day, here are some sexy options:

Renaissance corset by Frederick’s of Hollywood ($64)

Lace trim silk teddy by Victoria’s Secret ($58)

If you're ballin' on Bianca Claudia Meriwether Pavilion Brooks Dunne Hall Oates' status, then try this La Perla Venus gown ($497)

And for the more adventurous... Victoria’s Secret cutout teddy ($29.50)

If Valentine’s Day means quality time with your batteries, (hey, if you ain't got a man...you always got your hand) here are some new ways to spice up your “date.”
Beginner’s bunny ($73)
Butterfly ($135)

If you’re beyond the “bunny”, click here for some “advanced” options.

So, my fashionable pretties, whatever you do to celebrate or loathe this day...make sure you do it with style!
