WB's Cornball Corner: Jackie Mason

It's Monday which means it's time for the WB's Cornball Corner. Today's post is dedicated to that musty old ass comic, Jackie Mason. The senior citizen is drawing heat for his comments about President Barack Obama. Mason was performing Thursday at the Feinstein's at Lowes Regency when he called President Obama a "schvartze". Schvartze is a Yiddish term for black. Some people booed and got up and walked out. Mason stood firm on his diss, telling TMZ, "I'm an old Jew. I was raised in a Jewish family where 'schvartze' was used." The 72-year-old went on to say, "It's not a demeaning word and I'm not going to defend myself. If it's a racist society, the white people are the ones being persecuted because they have to defend themselves." This isn't the first time Mason used the term, in 1991, he called former New York City Mayor David Dinkins "a fancy schvartze with a mustache." He later apologize when Al "Opportunist" Sharpton got in dat ass. Look, I'm not one to always cry racism, but I am noticing a trend now that we have our first African-American president. Some people are pissed and they are going to try to turn the tide on this significant accomplishment and cry foul. Plus, we all know the older you get the less filter capabiities you have. We all have that old Uncle who calls people out at the cookouts? Jackie Mason, you are the cornball of the week, weak, weak!
