DVR Worthy TV: CNN's Black in America, 2

It's back..... "BLACK IN AMERICA 2" hosted again by Soledad O'Brien and airing July 22 and 23rd at 8:00 ET. The consensus from the first one seemed to be a thumbs down for the most part. Nothing earth shattering was revealed, at least not to me, a black woman. It seemed focused on skin tone, how light skinned blacks fair better blah blah blah. Is that true to an extent? sure it is but well I mean and? The focus on that aspect kinda made it seem like this doumentary isn't meant for Black people to watch and when you think about, were Black right? so I guess we know what being Black in America means. I sometimes get weary by these kinds of documentaries that seem to shine the spotlight on the dark side of being a Black American ( pun intended, hee hee!) But hey, I'll watch, apparently CNN took into account all the feedback from part 1 and this time around is confident that the documentary will be more paliable to it's watchers.

Hmmm... okay we shall see. Hey I mean I'm all for CNN taking over as the network that speaks for the Negro. I think we all agree that 'Backwards Entertainment Television' is the spawn of the devil.
