Mind Brewing: Boyfriend #2??

Is that the solution? according to Mr. Pleasure P (yuk!) you enlist a boyfriend #2 "cause the first one he don't really, seem like he know what to do" hmmmm ok? That may very well be the case but are we involved with these people only for the sex? If your toes are not curling like you like them to isn't it okay to talk to your boyfriend #1 and tell him (or show him) what you like? As the days go on I become more and more disheartened by so called love relationships. Everything seems so centered on getting out at the first sign of an issue. This song is certainly nothing to take serious but it just got me to thinking about the 'sticktoitness' of yesteryear that our grandparents had. They fought and I'm sure there were many nights of bad sex, no sex or just the general everyday ish that goes on in relationships and yet somehow they stayed together.

My granny was one of a kind. I never remember her beefing about anything my grandfather did but I'm certain he did plenty cause he was a humdinger let me tell ya! She cooked a new meal everyday.... including Saturday and Sunday! and ironed every piece of laundry of his, draws, socks and all! (those genes thankfully skipped me, I wear everything with stretch to avoid ironing). Thinking back I'm sure a boyfriend #2 woulda served her just fine. But nope! Pain in the anus or not she was not going that route. It was simply not even an option. So I marvel at these present times where we have big ole funky productions of a wedding, make people bring us expensive gifts, have a bridal party of 40,000, use credit cards to pay for the production and then in 6 or so months have either a boyfriend/girlfriend #2 or simply head straight for divorce.

I've never been a wife, but hell being a girlfriend is hard enough on its own. A boyfriend #2????? HAILS NO!!! Boyfriend #1 (if I had one) is all the headache I can handle and quite frankly bad sex would not be the reason I seek a boyfriend#2 . Food deprivation.... now that's where we run into some problems.....
