Breaking Brew News: Michael Jackson's Death - A Homicide

UPDATE: The Los Angeles coroner has ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide.

File this one under "no sh!t, Sherlock": Michael Jackson had lethal levels of Propofol in his system when he died. TMZ reports Jackson's doctor (Conrad Murray) told police he'd been treating the King of Pop for insomnia, giving him 50 mg of Propofol every night.

Murray feared Jackson was getting addicted so he reduced the dosage to 25 mg.

The day Jackson died, Murray gave him a valium (which didn't work), so he added a dose of the anti-anxiety drug lorazepam. Jackson was still awake, so Dr. Murray gave him a sedative. Then, hours later, the Doctor gave Jackson more drugs! Murray claims Jackson demanded them. By the time Murray returned to check on Jackson, he wasn't breathing. Ya'll know the rest. So, how long before this thing is *officially* ruled a homicide?

Jackson is scheduled to be buried (finally) on September 3rd.

I don't know about you, but counting sheep, staring at the ceiling and a little wine knock me out every time.

So, who's to blame here: the doctor for probably going against better medical judgement or the addict? My vote's on the doctor! He knew better!
