Morehouse Bans Saggy Pants

Kudos to the illustrious men of Morehouse College who are being held to the highest of standards when it comes to keeping their couture game on point.

The administration is enacting a dress code later this month, called the "Appropriate Attire Policy."

The new policy includes:

• a ban on sagging pants
• no headwear (caps, do-rags or hoodies)
• no sunglasses worn in class or at formal programs
• no jeans at major programs
• no clothing with derogatory messages in words or pictures
  
• no women's clothing (ahem!)
  

Students that violate the new rules risk academic suspension.

Morehouse President Michael Franklin wants the students to become modern "Renaissance Men" who are "well-dressed."

Some students are a bit mixed on the policy shift. One student said: "Outward appearance assists with how you carry yourself, but either way you cannot change someone's mindset."
