Brew Funny: CNN Gets Punked

When you hear “Howard Stern” that’s usually clue to hang up. But not to Ali Velshi, who gets punked, live on the air.

Larry Suspenders, You're "Inappropriate"

Former Miss California Carrie Prejean lost her isht on Larry King Live when he asked about her settlement over that botched attempt at becoming Miss USA...and further proved to America how much of a dumbass she is.

Prejean attempted to leave but never did. Apparently she had a deal with CNN that she wouldn't take calls on the show. But that word never made it to Larry. Uh, isn't the point of LK LIVE to be LIVE with a few calls here and there?

Brew News: Lou Dobbs To Leave CNN

Controversial CNN opinion spewer anchor Lou Dobbs is leaving the network. Dobbs says he's rolling out to “engage in constructive problem-solving” at a destination unknown. He went on to say: “As for the important work of restoring inspiration to our great free society and our market economy, I will strive as well to be a leader in that conversation.”

Dobbs drew hate from Democrats (and other rational, thinking people) when he got on board the “birther” movement, which questioned President Obama’s citizenship.

No word yet on where he's going, but rumors have been swirling that he may cross the border to the Fox network.

It's a shame... Lou's a smart dude and I used to like him when all he reported on was business news. Then, he started ranting on immigration (which I always found odd since his wife is Mexican-American). Anyway, after that, things went downhill and Lou and I had to break-up.

Oh well... good luck, Lou.  On to the next...

Do You Know What It's Like To Be Latino In America?

Well, most of America doesn't either.  CNN's well-plugged "Latino in America" special tanked in the ratings.

Wednesday night, it drew an average of 1,007,000 total viewers. That's down 45% in total viewers from the debut episode of July's "Black in America," which averaged 1,991,000 total viewers.

Thursday's part 2 of the special got just 848,000 total viewers (average). That's also down 40% in total viewers from the second part of "Black in America."

If you watched it, what did you think? If you didn't, why did you opt not to watch it?
