Don’t “F” with the HRC

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is tired of walking in her husband's shadow.

And she let that rage rip during a stop in Congo yesterday. During a meeting with Congolese young people, a student asked her about the influence of China on the continent of Africa.

But something got lost in translation and the question came out as "What does Mr. Clinton think about it?"

Ooooh, chile.... That's when ole Hill lost her marbles.



The young man who asked the question later told Clinton that he was trying to ask about President Obama and not Bill Clinton. Oops!

Clinton is traveling across Africa this week for a 7 country, 11 day visit to shed a light on AIDS, corruption and the oppression of women. Of course, her trip was overshadowed last week when her hubby rescued two jailed journalists from North Korea.

I'll Tumble For Ya

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton dropped down low and swept the flo’ with it yesterday, as she walked to the White House. Clinton fell and broke her elbow and will need surgery to fix it. She plans to undergo the procedure next week.

The tumble means Clinton will miss a scheduled event with Lips and Bones Angelina Jolie today. Clinton is due to travel to Italy and Greece next week. It’s not clear if she’ll take those trips.

I don’t know what’s in the water with these Washington folks, but let me double up on my calcium. Clinton is the third public official in recent weeks to take a tumble and break a bone. Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor broke her ankle as she was on her way to Washington earlier this month. And, Illinois Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky broke her ankle during a fall at Guantanamo Bay.
