Brew Beauty: Makeup With Your iPod

Here I was thinking Stila was going out of business and I'd have to hoard all my tinted foundations... but, it turns out, the makeup brand is still kicking.

The company has released the Stila Makeup Player which serves as both an iPod dock and a makeup kit. I know I'm not the only one who blasts the tunes when I'm painting my face and getting ready for a night out.  This all-in-one system comes with Stila's One Step Makeup Foundation, Eye Shadow Trio & #7 Eye Shadow Brush, Convertible Color for lips & cheeks, and lip glaze.

Head to StilaBeautyTube, iTunes or YouTube to download free makeup lessons onto your iPod and then watch them in the Stila Makeup Player as you're applying your face.  GENIUS!

The whole thing comes with a recession-friendly pricetag. It's just $69.90, but with all the products that come along with the kit, it's actually worth $250.

Click here to buy one...while you're there, cop me one too!  Thanks.

Tech Talk: New iPod Nano

Freaks unite! The new iPod Nano records video. I know what you're thinking: "how can I get her to dance nekkid while I record her on my iPod play my iPod?"

Ya nasty buzzards.

The new video-recording Nano is a direct competitor to Pure Digital's "Flip" line of cameras. The Nano is very thin, which may be a problem for people who prefer their video cameras to have some weight to them.

One critic said it takes some getting used to, as the Nano can slip from your hands because it's so thin.

For those who are beginners, filming is easy peasy. Just select video recording and point in the direction of what you want to shoot. It's that simple.

There's an FM radio in the device and a pedometer. Who has time to walk when you're watching movies on the Nano?

Anyway, the thing does play songs too…for those of us who still just use the darned things to listen to our playlists!
