This was a bit much for me. Can I dare to say that I like Soulja Boy? His music is not Hip Hop. It is a new genre of dance inspired music, IMO. I am fine with that. I love dancing and having a good time. That's what the music is about. That is what this generation is about (take it or leave it).
To each his own. Just because Soulja is black and doesn't sing, he is making hip hop? I mean there is so many branches/genres of hip hop (wikipedia - hip hop genres), why can't this be one of them?
