Who Benefits From Being "Friends With Benefits"????

I think being a FWB is a cop out and almost always one or both parties are not happy with this arrangement. Women especially do a lot of masking of our true feelings. We love pretending we are hardcore (though some of us are) and we love acting like we can play the game just as good or even better than a man. But yet somehow we always end up "Jazmine Sullivan'n" some dudes whip  and acting a complete assbesol in the streets when our love is unrequited.

Are you a 'friend with benefits'? How's that working out for you? Honestly....... I know there are some people who would rather chew glass than be in a committed relationship but most people more than likely settle on being a friend with benefits cause the other person isn't really willing to give them much more than that. So where's the benefit? Ok so you may go out, eat some fancy food, and then come home and get it poppin. The sex is usually just okay, it's never the kind of sex that would make you pick up the phone and call your mama taumbout "mama! he just blew my back out!" It's very rarely that kinda sex. I'd even go so far as to say that your toy collection (what self respecting woman doesn't have a toy collection to go with her extensive porn collection???) probably could have benefited you better.

So, really, what's all this benefit business about? Some people just like to get their rocks off and I get that. But if you're currently in a FWB arrangement that you really want no parts of but are simply making do til the other party comes around then I say knock it off! Why sell yourself short like that? Who wants someone they had to wear down to get anyway?

As we head off into the weekend, think about your FWB status and really assess if that's a situation you want in your life, remember, to thine own self be true...... Toodles!
