Brew Bits: Goodbye Summer.....

*Grrrrrrrrrrrr* A judge sentenced Dark Man X to six months in the clink and from the looks of his ashy grill, I don't think he saw that one coming. Check the video:

On a side note: dude is definitely on that good good, given the involuntary face twitchin' going on, "up in here, up in here". Sorry, bad taste.

Brew Bits: DMX… Arrested Again

Another day, another arrest for Earl Simmons Dark Man X. He was arrested today in Arizona for violating the terms of his probation by using drugs over the last 9 months. DMX’s lawyer wants to hook the rapper up with Dr. Drew Pinsky (sidebar: I have the biggest crush on Dr. Drew). Anyway, Gary Jenkins (the lawyer) thinks Dr. Drew is the only person who can save DMX. Jenkins says DMX has “been battling addiction for some time and he's in need of treatment." Um, tell us something we don’t know! DMX has been arrested every year since 1999.

Meanwhile, DMX’s “wife,” Tashera is writing a tell all book titled Strength of a Woman. The book will reveal her “not so glamourous life” with the rapper who has been hit with a few paternity suits over the years. That would make me go get a knife, not write a book. But hey, I guess Mrs. DMX needs a check too.

Breaking Brew: DMX Won't Fight

Breaking news...(cuz FOX won't tell you this shyt!)

DMX has pulled out of that mixed marital arts battle with fighter Eric Martinez we told you about last month.  Apparently Dark Man X couldn't get the promoters to rig the fight for him, so he's dropped out.

Guess who will be taking his place?  Coolio!  The too-old-to-be-rocking cornrows "rapper" will now face Martinez on December 12 in Alabama.

And the fight will not be fixed.

DMX, The Boxer?

Dark Man X needs a day job. Hey, we all gotta get our crack stash re-upped eat, right?

In a recent radio interview, DMX talked about his December debut as a boxer in Alabama.

DMX on how the fight came about:
"We got a phone call, you know? Asking if I wanted to participate in it. I was like, "Yeah. Why not?" I used to participate in…oh, nevermind. But yeah, I figured I could do it."

DMX on whether he’s training for the fight:
"I’m just going to walk in as it is, you know what I mean? It wouldn’t be fair if I trained."

DMX on whether he'll fight again if he wins:
"You mean, like, professionally? I ain’t going to do too much of it. I’m not trying to have my face all messed up."

DMX... errr, ahh, confused:
"Do you watch MMA?
DMX: "What’s that?"
"Mixed Martial Arts."
DMX: "No, I watch the ultimate fighting, though."

Listen to the full interview here.  iSigh.

When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong: Case # 75657 DMX

Move over balloon boy...Dark Man X is in Colorado doing what he does best; acting H.A.M. certified. DMX was scheduled to perform at a charity event but arrived 1 1/2 hours late. The event organizers already told the crowd that X wouldn't be performing. A little after that he arrives with his crew and that's where shit turned left at Sanity Street. Security wrestled X and his guy groupies to the ground while concert goers tried to get in on the action. Nothing can stop a determine head to the crack though! X made it on stage sans the sound system to announce that he was indeed in the building!
