Will You Watch?: TV One's "The Ultimate Merger"

Why lawd, why? Donald Trump has decided to put Omarosa back on our teevay screens in yet another reality show. This time, she's trying to find a man, or as The Donald says, find a man to "tame her." *Blank stare* Omarosa will get to pick from 12 bachelors on the show, which is "coming soon" to TV One.

Al B. Sure, Chef G. Garvin and Pastor Jamal Bryant all make appearances on the show! I can't with this one.

Here's a clip...

Who am I kidding... I'll be watching this shizz too. *makes room in DVR*

So, will you watch?

Martin Lawrence Returns To TV*

*sorta

Martin is executive producing a new comedy for TV One (you know, the un-BET?).  "Love That Girl!" premieres January 19th. The show is a comedy about a young divorcee who returns home to Southern California to work for her father's real estate business and lives with her out-of-work brother.  The show stars Cousin Ashley Tatyana Ali.

"Love That Girl!" will be the first original scripted programming on TV One, and if picked up, it'll be a new spin on TV production... since the initial episodes were shot in 5 days, on a shoestring budget.

So, will you watch it?

Will You Watch?: "Diamond" Does Reality Show

Everyone's favorite skrippa, Diamond, (LisaRaye if you're nasty) is coming to a tv near you. TV One is giving the former head boss chick of the Turks & Caicos her own show. It will follow the life and times of the actress as she tries to kick-start her acting comeback and juggle her personal life.

The 8-episode run will be shot in Los Angeles and on the island where she served as First Lady during her short and rocky marriage to the former Premier, Michael Misick.

The show will also focus on LisaRaye's 19 year old daughter, her jailed sister (Da Brat - tat- tat- tat) and her mother. Of course, there will be some love life tossed in the mix too.

The show is set to air in the Spring of 2010.

So, will you watch?

I sure hope she has enough white outfits to carry her through all these episodes.

I'm just sayin'...

Unsung Returns

I don’t know about you but the best thing on TV this season (aside from Ray J…yeah, I said it) was TV One’s Unsung. The show focuses on “unsung” and fallen stars in Black music. Unsung is gearing up for a new round of profiles.

Starting next month, TV One will profile Supremes founding member Florence Ballard, Minnie Riperton, Shalamar and Melba Moore.

I’m getting my popcorn ready for Howard Hewitt's silky mullet right now!

The new season of Unsung will kick-off Black Music Month with the untold story of Minnie Riperton. The new season premieres June 7th at 8 pm (ET).

Four more episodes of Unsung will air in November. Take that BET!
