Take Dat, Take Dat... PETA Case #988790238423

Folks ain't effin' with PETA and their peeps no more.  Used to be a time when those fur-huggers would say some grimey isht or toss red paint on ya and you'd run off in shame and be on the fashion shyt list for a minute, only to emerge with a fresh chinchilla in about a year.  And so went the vicious cycle.

Well, not any more.  Celebs are going innnn on PETA and clapping back. Case in point: the extra faaaaabulous figure skater Johnny Weir.  One of Johnny's costumes has some fox fur on the sleeve.  Several groups (including PETA) have asked Johnny to stop wearing the fur... some going so far as to send him videos of how animals are tortured for their fur.  Another group called, Friends of Animals, sent him and his costume designer an open letter about the fur.

That letter sent Johnny's index finger pointing and his neck rolling:
“I totally get the dirtiness of the fur industry and how terrible it is to animals. But it’s not something that’s the No. 1 priority in my life. There are humans dying everyday. There are thousands if not millions of homeless people in New York City. Look at what just happened in Haiti. I tend to focus my energy, if there is a cause, on humans. While that may be callous and bad of me, it’s my choice.  Every skater is wearing skates made out of cow.  Maybe I’m wearing a cute little fox while everyone else is wearing cow, but we’re all still wearing animals.”
Then Weir went off on the group because this is the first time anyone has tried to put the verbal smackdown on his designer:

“She did what I asked her to. It wasn’t her choice to make me a costume with fur.  At least directly come to me and yell at me. Don’t attack my peeps.”
His peeps?  Is he 'bout to call Pookie & 'em?

"Take dat, take dat!"

That's exactly what Michael Jackson and White Jesus are saying to daddy Joe. Details of Mike's will are leaking to the media and it looks like Joe will have to shake it like a salt shaker cuz Michael left him zilch, nada, nathan! The pop star reportedly gave his millions to his mother, children and various charities. Yeah...about those children, TMZ is reporting that Michael Jackson was not the biological father of Michael, Paris and Prince. That's a bulletin? Anynotmybabbydaddyway, it seems that Debbie Rowe just carried the two oldest children but conception took place in a sweatshop or sumthin'. Little Blanket's parents are unknown. He was delivered then picked up at the hospital by MJ's lawyer. The plot thickens people!

"Take dat...take dat"

They always say the best way to hurt rich folk is to take their money! The gubment announced that it has seized all of Bernie Madoff's property in a deal that also forces his wife to give up her homes and millions. In case you don't remember, Bernie Madoff created the largest ponzi scheme in history that stole millions from investors. The sleezy pepaw is scheduled to be sentenced Monday and at 71 is expected to spend the rest of his life in prison. The Madoffs will forfeit 80 million in property including a Manhattan apartment, a house in the Hamptoms and a home in Palm Beach, Florida. So basically, dude will be in jail and his wife will be in the projects clipping coupons and remembering the good 'ole days. Karma's a bytch!

Unsung Returns

I don’t know about you but the best thing on TV this season (aside from Ray J…yeah, I said it) was TV One’s Unsung. The show focuses on “unsung” and fallen stars in Black music. Unsung is gearing up for a new round of profiles.

Starting next month, TV One will profile Supremes founding member Florence Ballard, Minnie Riperton, Shalamar and Melba Moore.

I’m getting my popcorn ready for Howard Hewitt's silky mullet right now!

The new season of Unsung will kick-off Black Music Month with the untold story of Minnie Riperton. The new season premieres June 7th at 8 pm (ET).

Four more episodes of Unsung will air in November. Take that BET!

"Take Dat, Take Dat"

Gay bashing and nekkid pictures can't stop Miss California's hustle. Carrie Prejean will get to keep her title. Donald Trump made the announcement Tuesday. Prejean angered gay righters when she voiced her opposition to same-sex marriages during the pageant. Since then she's made several suspect appearances for the right. Then, seminude pictures popped up on website recently. Hustleman Trump said the firestorm is proof that his Miss Universe pageant is just as gully as a Trick Trick concert in Detroit.
