Oprah is on a roll these days… first Todd Bridges, then John Edwards’ mistress and now this. Supermodel phone thrower Naomi Campbell will sit down with Oprah on Monday to talk about her life, her love and her diva antics.

Naomi even signs Oprah’s “no phone zone” pledge… and she agrees not to toss her cell phone at people’s heads anymore.

The interview airs Monday, May 3rd.

Toni Childs Got A Job

Former Girlfriends star Jill Marie Jones has landed a new gig. On the heels of the TBS "micro-series" My Manny, Jones has landed her own mini-show called Gillian in Georgia. Her character is described as a "hip, single New Yorker who visits her family in a small town in Georgia."

Soul Food star and "Ain't no lie, bye bye bye" dance moves guy Darrin Henson will play Jones' love interest.

The "micro-series" is sponsored exclusively by Chevy Malibu, which will be prominently featured in the show. Interesting.

The show runs Wednesdays during Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns.

Will You Watch?: TV One's "The Ultimate Merger"

Why lawd, why? Donald Trump has decided to put Omarosa back on our teevay screens in yet another reality show. This time, she's trying to find a man, or as The Donald says, find a man to "tame her." *Blank stare* Omarosa will get to pick from 12 bachelors on the show, which is "coming soon" to TV One.

Al B. Sure, Chef G. Garvin and Pastor Jamal Bryant all make appearances on the show! I can't with this one.

Here's a clip...

Who am I kidding... I'll be watching this shizz too. *makes room in DVR*

Will You Watch?: Black Women Are Hopeless, Episode #490

Here we go again...

ABC is continuing the debate about whether successful sistas can have the job, house, car, baby, man and the marriage.

Nightline is tackling the question "why can't a successful black woman find a man?" in a "face-off" hosted by Vicki Mabrey. The panel features co-host Steve Harvey (multiple marriages), Sherri Shepherd (divorced), Jacque Reid (still searching), Jimi Izrael (just learned who you were today) and Hill Harper (not married). Um, isn't someone missing from the panel: a successful married black woman? Oh wait... there aren't any, right? (If you believe the hype)  Maybe Vicki is married. #kanyeshrug

The "face-off" airs Wednesday, April 21st at 11:35 pm (ET) on Nightline.

Breaking Brew: Conan Gets A Gig

Team Coco rejoice! Conan O'Brien is returning to TV. He's inked a deal with TBS for a talk show that debuts in November. The show will air Monday - Thursday at 11 pm (ET), which will push Lopez Tonight to the midnight timeslot. I hope George doesn't feel Conan is punking him like NBC and Leno did to Conan.

So, when the "new" Conan show airs, will you watch?

Tina Fey Returns To SNL…

…just for tonight.

It doesn’t take much to excite me on a Saturday night. Hey, I’m easy like that. (Ok, wait, that didn’t come out right)

Anyway, Tina Fey is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight with that Justin Bieber-Fever boy as the musical guest. To plug her hosting gig, Fey appeared on Jimmy Fallon's (her fellow SNL alum) late night chat show. Fey and Fallon teamed up against Seth Meyers and a preggers Amy Poehler for a game of charades!

Will you watch tonight?

*P.S. Hey Tina, send me those shoes!

Will You Watch?: HBO's "Treme"

If you don't have HBO, this might be the week you'll want to cozy up to the cable man or something. HBO debuts its new show Treme this weekend and if pedigree means anything, this will be a hot one. Treme is the brainchild of The Wire's David Simon and Eric Overmyer.  (Sadly, David Mills, the show's writer and co-executive producer --who also hails from The Wire's team-- passed away last week.)

The series focuses on the music community in post-Katrina New Orleans. Critics say the show may just represent the city like no other film/series has. And, it should be noted while Katrina's aftermath is central to the series, this isn't a crime drama or a "woe is me" type show.

Treme premieres April 11th at 10 pm (ET) on HBO.

Will You Watch?: Brandy & Ray J’s “Family Business”

Looking for a soulmate jump off wasn’t enough for Ray J. So rather than do another season of Ray J’s Brothel, VH1 is doing a show about the “business” of the Norwood family. The show features Ray, big sis Brandy (who opted to leave the crapper singing behind and film this instead) and their parents. Here’s a clip…
“Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business” premieres April 11th at 9 pm (ET) on VH1.

Will You Watch?: Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution

Former Food Network star and “Naked Chef” Jamie Oliver is on a mission… the same one First Lady Michelle Obama is on: to put America’s youth on the right track to fitness and health.

Jamie went to Huntington, WV –the unhealthiest city in America– to film his new “reality” show, Food Revolution, where he's met with quite a bit of resistance in the beginning...

Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution kicks off with a two hour premiere tonight at 8 pm (ET) on ABC.

Will You Watch?: Jill Scott on Law & Order: SVU

Our favorite Jilly from Philly makes a guest appearance on tonight's episode of Law & Order: SVU with "The Blind Side's" Quinton Aaron.

Jill Scott plays the aunt of a former singer who suffers from multiple sclerosis and has been raped. Here's a little snippet...

Reowr!  An evil Jilly... I love it!

Jill says this about the role: "My character is not the victim, which I love. She's bitter and angry and conniving. I think she's very much alone and I like it."

Law & Order: SVU airs on NBC tonight at 10 pm (ET).

Mike Tyson Reps For The Pigeons

It’s not everyday that we can report Mike Tyson has a new job. Consider this one of those rare days...

Tyson is set to star in a new Animal Planet reality series about pigeon racing, tentatively called Taking on Tyson.  The former champ –who has raised pigeons since childhood– says "I feel a great pride acting as an official representative for all the pigeon fancier's out there.'' (now, re-read that with a lisp and then contain your laughter)

Tyson will co-executive produce the show, which will focus raising and racing pigeons, a largely unknown urban sport.

I'm happy to see him getting back on his feet. Taking on Tyson debuts in early 2011 on Animal Planet. So, will you watch?

You Want A Piece Of Ochocinco?

Chad Ochocinco is wookin’ pa nub. And why not start the search on a teevay dating show, right? Everyone else is doing it.

Ochocinco’s new show, The Tournament, will recruit 85 women (duh!) for a shot at love. The women will be narrowed down to 16 who compete in a bracket-style competition each episode. The ones chosen to advance will get a game ball (kinda like how Flavor Flav’s chicks got clocks) and the ultimate winner will get a championship ring.

Ochocinco insists the show will be classy. Click here for casting details.

The Tournment airs on VH1 this July. So, will you watch?

Brewchies At The Movies: “Just Wright”

Alert! Alert! There's a whole-lotta fine coming up in this next post!

Check out the trailer for Common and King Queen Latifah’s new flick, Just Wright. Latifah stars as a physical therapist who rehabs a pro-baller and judging from the trailer… you can tell she gets to hump Common at some point in this movie.

Good lawd, look at the fineness up in this flick! But, something about this movie makes me want to sing “Khadijah, I need ya”…

And, I see you Pam Grier.

Just Wright hits theaters in May.  Will you go see it?

New Dancing For Relevancy Cast Announced

ABC just announced the new Dancing With The Stars contenders for the show's upcoming season.

And it's a pretty decent cast dancing for relevancy this time around (give or take a few):

 Chad Ochocinco

Niecy Nash (her flower will undoubtedly grow bigger each week)

Kate Gosselin (who's watching the kids?)

Nicole Scherzinger (I still have to cut and paste her name, geez)

Pamela Anderson

Shannen Doherty

Also dancing this season... soap opera star Aiden Turner, moon walker Buzz Aldrin, ESPN's Erin Andrews, Olympic gold medalist figure skater Evan Lysacek and The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka.

The new season of Dancing With The Stars kicks off March 22nd.  So, will you watch?

Beyonce will be one of the featured guests on tomorrow's Tyra Show.  They shoot the shizz about Beyonce's Grammy wins and that random "I love you" she shouted out to Jay-Z during her acceptance speech.

[Forgive Tyra for this tragic roller set you're about to see]

Also on Tuesday's show, Robin Thicke and Lauren Conrad. So, will you watch?

P.S. Are people still watching the Tyra Show?
