Brewchies At The Movies: “Just Wright”

Alert! Alert! There's a whole-lotta fine coming up in this next post!

Check out the trailer for Common and King Queen Latifah’s new flick, Just Wright. Latifah stars as a physical therapist who rehabs a pro-baller and judging from the trailer… you can tell she gets to hump Common at some point in this movie.

Good lawd, look at the fineness up in this flick! But, something about this movie makes me want to sing “Khadijah, I need ya”…

And, I see you Pam Grier.

Just Wright hits theaters in May.  Will you go see it?

The two hour concert/telethon, called "SOS Saving OurSelves — Help for Haiti," will be broadcast live from Miami and it'll mark Chris Brown's first "major" return to TV.

Wyclef Jean, Mary J. Blige, Drake, Robin Thicke, Monica and Lil Wayne are also scheduled to perform. Proceeds from the event will go to Yele Haiti, CARE and other charities.

"SOS Saving OurSelves — Help for Haiti" airs on BET, MTV, VH1 and Centric at 8 pm (ET) on February 5th.

So, will you watch?

Brew Beauty: Queen Latifah

Actor/rapper/spokesmodel and all-round entertainment force Queen Latifah is our fourth Brew Beauty of the Week!  New Jersey bred Dana Elaine Owens parlayed a groundbreaking rap career into a Golden Globe, two Screen Actors Guild awards and an Oscar nomination.  Latifah's not just a pretty face, she reps for the big girls and has her hands in lots of charity work, ranging from ovarian cancer research to promoting volunteerism.  We jokingly call her the King around here... but her beauty can't be denied.

Here's a look at Dana through the years.

Head to our Facebook page for our Brew Beauty gallery to see more of The Queen.  And while you're there, become a fan and then follow our blog!

If you've got a beauty you want us to feature, e-mail us (no video vixens, airheads or publicity whores, thank you!).

Brew Music: Queen Latifah + Missy - "Fast Car"

King Queen Latifah is back. This time, she's teaming with Missy (refraining from joke on the day the Lord hath made) on a track called "Fast Car." Didn't Tracy Chapman already make that song? Anyway, take a listen and leave your comments below.

Brew Bits: I'm Not Lebanese, I Just Crush A Lot

King Latifah and a crew of beauties partied it up at a Lebanese spot in NYC, the rapper/thespian has always been tight lipped about the desires of her loins....

The rapper-turned-actress recently sashayed with five stunning women into Country Club's weekly Wednesday night lesbian party, "Eden," on West 14th Street. "She chilled for several hours, ordering bottle service for her friends and chatting up promoter Maggie Collier," our spy said. She also showed up again this week. Latifah has always declined to discuss her sexuality and told the Times last year, "I don't care if people think I'm gay or not."

hmmmmm...........
