Will You Watch?: BET's Haiti Concert

BET is getting in on the Haiti relief effort all late and whatnot.  The network plans to do a concert for Haiti next month, with Diddy, Queen Latifah and Pharrell on deck as hosts. 

The two hour concert/telethon, called "SOS Saving OurSelves — Help for Haiti," will be broadcast live from Miami and it'll mark Chris Brown's first "major" return to TV.

Wyclef Jean, Mary J. Blige, Drake, Robin Thicke, Monica and Lil Wayne are also scheduled to perform. Proceeds from the event will go to Yele Haiti, CARE and other charities.

"SOS Saving OurSelves — Help for Haiti" airs on BET, MTV, VH1 and Centric at 8 pm (ET) on February 5th.

Chris Brown continues to stunt on 'dem hoes at Men's Fashion Week.  I, for one, applaud his attempt to be different and not look like every other wife beater, platinum & diamond chain, pants on the ground wearin' young man his age.  Buuuuuttttt, are we feelin' these Galliano shoes he's rocking?

Chris Brown is still making the rounds at Men's Fashion Week… here he is posing with designer Jean Paul Gaultier (the man who brought us Madonna's cone boobs… yeah, he's a little *out there*). Gaultier's show featured warriors so I guess this make-up goes with the theme. Anyway, didn't anyone on Breezy's PR squad think posing with a bloodied man might not be the best move?

The Nutjob Returns To Twitter

Well Happy effin' New Year people, Chris Brown has blessed us all for the 20-10 by returning to Twitter. While partying it up in Miami, Chris re-activated his @MechanicalDummy account and tweeted:

Please Follow Me Back. I’m back on twitter for good now….I was going through some things but your boy is back. 2010 Let’s Go. I decided to come back and connect with the fans for 2010. It’s only right because I love ya’ll. So Please Re-Follow

Then, Twitter removed the messages and tossed up this error page on the @MechanicalDummy account.

Now, Breezy is bouncing his "followers" to a @wiredupdummies account with this tweet:

Hope you're following along, cuz I sure can't.  I just want him to have another meltdown in the Wal-Mart.

Chris Brown Won't Shut Up

In this "live chat," Chris Brown talks ladies, what he first notices in a woman, tattoos and yoga. *Sigh* Just shut up, make music, "sing" (finger quotes) and dance.  That's all you really need to do.  No more bow tie Larry King appearances.  Thankfully, no more tweeting.  No more Wal-Mart raids. And no more viral videos, puhleeeease.

Tiger Calls Breezy?

There are many comparisons between Chris Brown and Tiger Woods. Beside giving your Brewchies some pure unadulterated fo'head fevah, they both have loads of teefs, as well as that non-threatening Shemar Moore steeze. They remind me of those dudes in school that were cute but corny so you couldn't give them any play because they would never have your back in a scrap. Anylightskinnedbamaway, check out this parody of Tiger Woods' now infamous voice mail to one of his jump-offs. Instead it's to Chris Brown telling him to delete his Twit for Twat account which he did earlier this week. Dead On!

Breezy's Broken!

Breaking news! Chris Brown has deleted his Twit for Twat account and the cyber world is in an uproar. This comes one day after he popped off on the industry for blackballing his new album Graffiti. Apparently Chris walked into a Walmart and didn't see it displayed and let his fingers tell them why he's mad son!

im tired of this s----. major stores r blackball my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers... yeah i said it and i aint retracting s---... im not biting my tongue about s--- else... the industry can kiss my ass.


He went on to tweet:  “we talked to the managers and they didnt even know anything. wow!!! but they had alicia keys album ready for release for this tuesdaycomin … the manager told me that when there are new releases its mandatory to put em on the shelves.. BUT NO SIGN OF #GRAFFITI. BS.”

You better be careful Chris going off on A Keys. That fine ass homewrecker's boo has a beak that could shatter glass!


Walmart says they are stocking Graffiti, all consumers have to do it ask for it.

Twitter Fits

Twitter is the new breeding ground for ranting sessions.

Chris Brown threw a bitch-fit because some stores have opted not to sell his trash "Graffiti" album.  He claims he's being blackballed in the wake of his Rihanna beatdown, although industry insiders have predicted this album will go Triple Tupperware©.  So, Breezy took to his Twit for Twat (@mechanicaldummy) and went o-f-f:

Meantime, another Twitter ranter said a mouthful today.  Swizz Beatz (@therealswizzz) is throwing his own digital punches at estranged wife Mashonda (@mashondaloyal), who went very public about Swizzy's relationship with Alicia Keys back in September.

Vibe Magazine's Cover Boys

Vibe Magazine is back from the depths of bankruptcy hell with a double cover featuring Wheelchair Jimmy and chief of the SlapAHo tribe.  I take it Vibe is really trying to save money with these Photoshopped-lookin' tee shirts.  Can't say I'll be buying this one, but it's good to see a publication rise from the ashes, since so many often don't.

Chris Brown Gets His Chance

Breezy will get his shot at Rihanna (no pun). He'll tell his side of the February assault story on ABC's "20/20" on December 11th. The in-depth interview (done by Robin Roberts) was taped last weekend and portions of it may appear on "Good Morning America," but, unlike Rihanna, he won't get to perform for the fans on GMA. However, much like Rihanna, the interview seems to coincide with the release of his upcoming album, "Graffiti" which drops on December 8th.

So, will you watch?

Chris Brown Gets His MJ On

Well looky looky...Chris Brown did a little Michael Jackson tribute, dance and lip-sync for the 27 fans at his "Fan Appreciation" show in Los Angeles last night. It kinda looks like the same old song and a dance he's done for MJ before, but I reckon it has more relevance now that MJ's dead and he's trying to kill the Ike Turner inside him rebuild his career.

PR Machines In Overdrive

I am convinced these two are in cahoots!  They got new albums finna drop any day now... and all of a sudden they're both all up on the teevay, all up in the videos, all on the records... dancing© and stuff.

First, Rihanna (who knew she talked?) tells her story on Good Morning America, then 20/20 and in Glamour Magazine.

Now, Breezy is set to drop his story on MTV tomorrow... the same day Rih-Rih goes for part two of her one-two punch (no pun) on ABC.  Remember, he vowed not to talk about this anymore, but hey, I guess playboy needs to move these kits.  It's a recession, son!

 
So, will you watch?  I'll be watching just to check on this new 'do Sway is rockin'.

Vibe Magazine Returns

Like a phoenix, Vibe is rising from the ashes...or trying to, at least.  Drake and Chris Brown are scheduled to grace the covers of the magazine's return issue next month.  We told you back in June about Vibe closing its pages.  But, after the folding, both Vibe and Vibe.com were snatched up by InterMedia Partners and Uptown Media Group.

The revamped Vibe will feature a covre with Chris and another with Drake.  The new Vibe will only print 4 issues a year.  The new Vibe launches December 8th.

While I do agree with him in that it's important for a man to be able to express his feelings, yada, yada, yada...why do it on the portal to hell that is Twitter? This seems a tad insincere to this Witch. Call up the banger and tell her yourself, I'm sure she'd appreciate it. We women like it when an ex friend boy grovels. Chris Brown's Tips For Avoiding Violence

Chris Brown now has 39 pages of notes to refer to if he ever gets the urge to go all Ike Turner on a broad again. Brown's domestic violence awareness group gave Brown this document, offering tips to help him avoid future tantrums.

The tips include rules on taking a time out and how to breathe deeply.  There are also chapters on the types of violence he should avoid:

• Using Intimidation
• Using Emotional Abuse
• Using Isolation
• Using Male Privilege
• Using Coercion & Threats

Brown has to complete more than 50 hours of community service in addition to attending the support group.

Actually, some folks could benefit from reading these and having a good woosah moment.

Brew Music: Chris Brown - "So Cold"

Chris Brown is doing some Keith Sweatish type begging on his newly-leaked track, "So Cold." On the track, he croons for his long-lost Rihanna love.

“Tell her I’m sorry, I’m really sorry/ Can you forgive me?/ Please forgive me/ And come back home/ Keep me safe and warm/ Damn my baby’s really gone/ I don’t know if she’s coming home/ My luck’s up, I f**ked up"

The Polow Da Don-produced "So Cold" will be on Brown's new album, "Graffiti."

Chris Brown Preps For Tour

Chris Brown is gearing up to start Poppin' on dem hoes once again. Rabid Beaver^© tweeted that he's about to "start a small tour soon...15 to 20 dates" at venues no bigger than 4,000 seats. He calls it his "fan appreciation tour." *blank stare*

Brown's latest single "I Can Transform Ya" (featuring Lil Wayne) has been well-received so far. The song is his first release since February's beatdown of Rihanna.

Brown plans to release another new song, called "Crawl" in a few weeks.
