In celebration of The Wizard of Oz's 70th Anniversary... and to remind you that she bombed as Dorothy in the recent revival of The Wiz...she has recorded "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". She doesn't sound that bad, either. Good for her! Check her out from this week's performance on The Early Show. She looks extra gorgeous... I must say.

It's A Wrap: Nelly & Ashanti

Nelly and Ashanti are sooooo 2008. The couple are reportedly dunzo because Ms. It's Bananas wanted the St. Lunatic to put a ring on it. And he still wants to swipe credit cards in asses.

A source claims Nelly has been spending his time with former "Real Chance at Love" girl, "Rabbit."

I don't know where these 2 were and for what reason they were there and quite frankly who gives a damn! But I do see Nelly and his um, his, his, um ya know..... um well I see he was there! The Wiz: It's Bananas!

If you were planning on easing down the road to see Ashanti as Dorothy in the off-Broadway production of The Wiz, don't!

Well, so says the critics.

The New York Times called the show "full of dead ends" and referred to Ashanti's performance as hollow. OUCH!

The New York Post gave the show 2 out of 5 stars. And praised Ashanti for tapping into her powerful voice (who knew?) but claimed that "she sticks to the same expression -- blank befuddlement."

There were some good reviews. The Associated Press called the show a "well-balanced production.”

Hey, guess everybody's a critic.

Smell Like A St. Lunatic?

Rapper and Ashanti’s bag carrier Nelly, is releasing a fragrance under his brand, Apple Bottoms. The perfume and body products are due out this fall.

So, will it smell like the apple or the bottom? When you spray it on, will it make you shout “Bananas!” like Ashanti does? Do you have to be a “Tip Drill” to wear it?

These are questions I ask myself. Carry on.

Um okay, I'm not even gonna bother to find out what her real name is, I don't care and it doesn't matter. I do know that she is Ashanti's sister (Nelly's girl who frequently tortures us with her sangin and stuff). So it seems lil sis is trying to assert her "grown woman" status but her execution is all wrong. Technically her body is not horrific but her intent is, the over zealous sexiness is making her look ridiculous and really, a tunic and a beach sweater wouldn't have hurt. Girl Bye!
