Bag Lady Fashion?

Louis Vuitton’s latest bag offering is simply a fancy trash bag with some writing on it and a strap. I, for one, am always down for a good deal on Hefty bags. I mean, you really can’t go generic on trash bags. Some things require a splurge. But,  I’m not sure about this fashion statement though. For $1960, you can own one of these Raindrop Besace bags, made out of raincoat material. But please don’t take the strap off, or you’ll look like you’re heading to Fred Sanford’s dump. #justsayin

Would You Rock It?: Louis Vuitton Backpack

Check out the new Louis Vuitton New Age Traveler Backpack.  It features a bit of crocodile at the top, which you may have missed because it's covered in a ton of tassels and other telephone wire-looking cords that seem to cover the legendary logo.  But the real kicker is... the pricetag.  This bag will set you back $54,000.  Yes, fifty-four thousand green United States dollars!

So, [if you could afford it] would you rock it?  Take our poll.

Would You Rock It?: Louis Vuitton Fox Tail Bag

Victoria Beckham has made quite the name for herself as a fashion trendsetter.  She was spotted in London with this Louis Vuitton Fox Tail messenger bag.  There's no price for it just yet but it's estimated that it could run as much as $3,500.  It's from the LV Spring/Summer 2010 collection and word is Posh may be rocking a prototype of the bag.  The bag is expected to be released early next year... so, would you rock it?

Louis Vuitton: Just For You

Louis Vuitton's master craftsmen have been making custom made luggage at a workshop in Asnieres, France for 150 years. To mark that anniversary, LV has commissioned six celebrities and designers to come up with their own creations that will be auctioned at Sotheby’s on November 17th. Proceeds will go to the Red Cross.

Among the items: Annie Leibovitz's commissioned backpack that holds all her gear and Marc Jacob's dog carrier (pictured) that holds his terriers, Daisy and Alfred.

Hmmm, I'd like them to whip me up a custom made Louis Vuitton closet to hold my collection of Canal Street Busta Rhymes LV denim suits.
