No Case For Warren Sapp

It looks like the QBKilla, Warren Sapp, won’t be heading to clink much less a courtroom after all. The former NFL’er was accused of beating a woman during Super Bowl weekend. But Florida prosecutors say they cannot file charges "due to the totality of the evidence and inconsistencies with the victim testimony and the physical evidence gathered during the investigation." In English, that means the broad lied (allegedly).

She told cops Sapp beat her so badly in his hotel room in February that she could barely walk and needed help from some random man to leave the hotel. But, surveillance video shows the woman did not walk with a limp nor did she nee dhelp from anyone to leave.

Hmmmm.

Breaking Brew: Warren Sapp Arrested

Former NFL baller and “Dancing With The Stars” twinkle toes Warren Sapp was arrested by Miami Beach police today and charged with domestic battery. The charge stems from an incident early this morning at a South Beach hotel.

The 37 year old is an analyst for the NFL Network.  Of course, he's in Miami for the Super Bowl and was set to host an event at BED Miami tonight.  You know we'll be watching for details...

UPDATE: The "incident" involved Sapp's girlfriend. Police say he allegedly choked his girlfriend around 5 am this morning at the Shore Club Hotel. Sapp's girlfriend of 2 years reportedly had "a swollen right knee and bruises on the back of her neck."

TMZ reports Sapp allowed her (the girlfriend) to sleep in his hotel room -- then came into the room early in the morning and pulled her out of bed. The alleged victim says they began arguing about guys she was hanging out with earlier Friday night.

He later threw her out of the room because he was "expecting company." We know what that means, right?  Super Bowl jump-offs! Sapp claims he was trying to help the girlfriend out of the room when she fell. SIDEBAR: Who brings a girlfriend to Super Bowl weekend?  Sand to the beach much?

Anyway, looks like Warren will be out of a job for a lil bit.  The NFL Network says he won't appear on their air until they review the incident.

SMH.
