Cornball Corner: Terrance Howard

Usually we highlight our "cornball of the week" on Mondays but I had to rush this one through. Baby Wipes Aficionado Terrance Howard had some *interesting* things to say about President Barack Obama. The actor recently revealed to Green and Glover that President Reagan is the one blacks need thank for reaching out to their community stating, "I don't think President Obama has been that revolutionary in reaching out to ethnic communities. President Reagan did a lot for the black community that people don't realize." Um, ok? I'm all for people supporting who they want to support. Just because BO is African-American should not guarantee a vote from blacks, but are you serious? I could name a dozen of other people of different races who have successfully reached our and touched our community but Reagan really doesn't come to mind. So like my momma also says, "consider the source" on this one. I mean this is a dude who is on some Wesley Snipes steze as evident in his choice of companions so he really isn't in our corner unless it convenient. This isn't the first time he's talked out the side of his neck either. He rushed to Chris Brown's defense following the Rihanna beat down. After it was revealed that he liked to smack a ho as well, he issued a "what had happened" and backtracked. Now, like your idol "Country Black" Snipes told Chris Williams in that scene from New Jack City after he stabbed his hand with a pimp stick sword, "pretty muthaf$%cka!" Slickback, I'm revoking your membership card, now go sit in the cornball corner, get some act right and a hair cut...with some clippers!
