The King Of (pill) Pop(ping)?

This Michael Jackson story is getting more bizarre (and sadder) by the minute.

In documents dating back to 2004 (but just released this week), Jackson’s employees say they picked up various prescriptions for him in their names. Some even traveled to see doctors in other states to get the pills. The documents were from Jackson’s 2005 child molestation trial.

Jackson is said to have taken more than 10 Xanax pills a night. Xanax is used to treat anxiety and panic attacks. One employee said 10 pills was actually an improvement because Jackson used to take 30-40 a night.

Police are trying to piece together the King of Pop’s drug history by subpoenaing his doctors. The family was said to have been trying to stage an intervention at one time but Jackson told his security guards to keep them away.

One doctor says Jackson was even self-injecting Demerol, a powerful pain-relieving narcotic.

Poor Mike Mike…why’d you do it son, why?

But you know what? Regular people do the same stuff everyday. Prescription drug abuse is way bigger than street pharmaceuticals in this country. But yet, with this bullshit "War on Drugs" they target minorities while in corporate America drug companies are getting fatter and fatter.
