Brew Cause: Support for Sarah Kruzan....

What has been life to Sarah is unimaginable to most of us. As a little girl, at 11 years old my biggest, most troublesome concern was which Barbie I wanted to play with or playing my Atari ( I think that's what was out at the time.... lol). Sarah however, was on the streets prostituting, groomed to do so by a 30 year old man named Gi Gi who "rescued" Sarah from her abusive, drug addicted mother so he could do the same and also sell her to men on the street. Can you imagine???? You're not even fully developed at the age of 11, physically or mentally. He beat, raped and tortured her and then sent her, a baby in reality, on the street to be a grown woman....

Sarah killed her pimp and at age 16 and was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole + 4 years. She is now 29 years old. The judge said she had no morals or scruples (in the video Sarah kinda lightheartedly explains that she didn't even know what morals and scruples were). No one should murder, that's common knowledge, mentally healthy people know this but isn't there certain instances, such like Sarah's, where the circumstances explain why the crime occurred. Her sentence is cruel, point blank! She never had a decent shot at life and now she may possibly die in prison.
