French Minister Has Sex With Boys, Keeps Job

French Culture Minister Frederic Mitterrand is refusing to step down after admitting he paid for sex with boys.  Mitterrand took to the airwaves to clear his name today.  He says he's no pedophile but he has paid for boys in brothels in Thailand and Indonesia.

Mitterrand says the "men' he met were consenting adults.

Mitterrand says French President Nicolas Sarkozy is fully behind him.  Oops, gives him his full support, I mean.  Anywho, the whole controversy stems from Mitterrand's 2005 book, "The Bad Life." In it, he defends filmmaker Roman Polanski, who is currently under arrest in Switzerland for having sex with a 13 year old girl decades ago.

Critics say Mitterrand's book endorses sex tourism.
