Now THIS Is A Hair Hat

Lady Gaga is the new face of Polaroid. This week, the company announced a multi-year deal with Gaga, who will act as creative director for a specialty line of Polaroid Imaging products.

To mark the momentous occasion, Gaga made an appearance at the Polaroid booth at the 2010 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Vegas this morning rocking the illest hair hat of all time.

"I am so proud to announce my new partnership with Polaroid as the creative director and inventor of specialty projects. The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion/technology/photography innovation--blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era--and we are excited to collaborate on these ventures with the Polaroid brand. Lifestyle, music, art, fashion: I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer, and to as my father puts it--finally, have a real job."

The Polaroid-Gaga partnership hits stores later this year.

Shake It Like A Polaroid Picture

The new licensee of the Polaroid brand has decided to relaunch some of the instant cameras.  The Polaroid instant film went the way of the Beta tape last year.  But, there's still interest in the cameras, so limited-edition Polaroid-branded instant films will be released next year in both color and black & white.
So, all you kiddies out there sexting... soon you'll be able to just Polaroid it like us old-heads.
