Must See Movie?: Our Family Wedding

Ok so we have Lance Gross (and ain't nuffin gross about this right here! WHOOOO WEEEE!!!) America Ferrereereree (you know, the "Ugly Betty" girl who I love) Regina King, Forrest Whitaker and some other people......

Looks like a nice wholesome, feel good movie, might have to pay for this one on my own though and go see it with my girls. I don't think I'll be able to find a dude to finance any movie about mofos gettin married. You know how dudes get all sweaty and uncomfy watching wedding scenes with chicks.....

So is it a must see? If ya'll went to see Beyonce in "Obsessed" then surely you can give this one a shot. I'm goin.....

Movie Must See?: "Black Dynamite"

Imma go see it so I can get a looksee at Michael Jai White's "backyard bangin like a benzi" body Whoo Weeee! got me fannin my lady parts this early in the morning........  It comes out tomorrow.

This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. The Man killed his brother, pumped heroin into local orphanages, and flooded the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor. Black Dynamite was the one hero willing to fight The Man all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.

Brewchies at the movies: Where The Wild Things Are

I'm lucky enough to have had parents who actually down with R.I.F. So before I went "night night" my mom put out her Newport long enough to read to me. One of my favorite books was, "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak. Not filled with a lot words but the imagery was the bomb and the little nekkid monsters made me happy for some reason. It still takes me back to a nice place when I open the book every now and then. I tried to pass it along all this feel good to my son when he became of age but he wasn't having that. "Little Bill" was his boy and that was that! He took one look at "Wild Things", muttered "lame" then rolled his eyes. Who gon check him boo? I'm extra excited that they are finally making this into a movie, directed by Spike Jonze of Being John Malkovich fame.
