NBC Chef Says: You Know Damn Well, You Want The Chicken!

NBC Chef Wants People to Relax, Eat
Leslie Calhoun, whose Black History Month menu featured collard greens, fried chicken, and black-eyed peas, found herself the unwitting target of righteous outrage after Questlove posted a shot of the menu on his Twitter page. As the Post reports, Calhoun, who's worked at NBC for eight years and has long wanted to do a special Black History Month menu, was surprised that NBC employees decided it was racist, after, of course, asking black people dining in the cafeteria if it was racist, which, Calhoun said, "they said...it wasn't."

The black people at NBC, have spoken....

NBC Honors Black History With…

…FRIED CHICKEN!

Check out this TwitPic that The Roots’ dummer Questlove tweeted today of an NBC menu featuring fried chicken and greens in honor of Black History Month.

Questo is an NBC employee thanks to The Roots’ gig as Jimmy Fallon’s house band.

Offensive much? What’s your call?

NBC’s Punk Move

NBC officially jacked the Tonight Show spot from under Conan O'Brien today. The peacock network inked a deal with Jay Leno, giving him the 11:35 pm – 12:35 am spot.

Under Leno's old contract, he was just guaranteed the 10 pm hour, so moving him would have been a breach of said contract. Well, under the newly negotiated deal, Leno moves back to his old 11:35 spot, leaving Conan S.O.L.

Does this fall into the category of b!tch@ssness?

"Glee" Cast Bumped From Parade

There won't be any "Glee" this Thanksgiving.  The cast of the hit Fox show was bumped from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  NBC and Fox had been in discussions for weeks about the cast appearing during the parade.  Sources at NBC say Macy's made an offer to the "Glee" cast without consulting NBC. OhNoTheyDidnt!

Fox stars from "American Idol" have taken part in the parade for the past 6 years, but only after their runs ended.  Guess "Glee" is too big for those turkeys.
