Gold diggers, step your game up! You’re running out of time. A new report from Yahoo! Sports suggests 80% of NFL players near bankruptcy 2 years after they retire from the game. 60% of NBA players go broke within 5 years of hanging up their shorts. And you can blame bad decision-making for their money woes.

According to the report, these are some of the biggest financial mistakes of all time:

Scottie Pippen
The former Bulls star lost $120 million in career earnings due to poor financial planning and bad business ideas, including blowing $4.3 million on a Gulfstream II corporate jet.

Evander Holyfield
The boxing champ raked in about $250 million during his career but made the very unwise decision to buy a $20 million house with 109 rooms. Now, he can’t afford heat.

Latrell Sprewell
Spree turned down a $21 million NBA contract because he couldn't feed his family off that *blank stare*, eventually, the government seized his yacht and his house went into foreclosure two years ago.  You mean the rim game wasn't profitable?

Mike Tyson
The ear muncher boxing champ blew his near $400 million fortune on a Bentley, a $2 million tub and some tigers. Tyson went bankrupt in 2003 but he went nuts circa 1990.

And what is the lesson we can learn from this? Don’t chase these dudes in the club, they have no money.

And so does his son Marcus, a freshman basketball player at the University of Central Florida who refuses to wear school sponsored Adidas tennis shoes because "it's a family thing." Sources in the UCF Athletic department indicate that Adidas officials were upset, but fear a backlash  THRASHING if they pressed the issue.

Jordan Jr. Jr. said,"It's no disrespect to Adidas. I have a high level of respect for Adidas. But I've always worn these Jordan shoes. I don't have a contract with Nike, but it's an obligation to my family." Jordan will wear the Adiddas sponsored uniform.

WOMP WOMP. Well I guess if my daddy's pictures were on the side of a shoe, I'd wear them forever too.

Marcus, not exactly a brooding basketball giant like his daddy, was the 115th ranked player in the country last year and came to UCF primarily because his friends were there.

Brew Sports News: Favre is Back.... Again.......

And I'm ripe sick of this ish already!!!

I mean really..... I guess there's a feel good story behind an over the hill quarterback always retiring and then shocking us with a return that is really never a shock, but seriously, this Favre thing is soooo getting old. Of course this quote from him makes me think a Lifetime movie is in the works....

BERLIN —Usain Bolt saved the celebration for after the finish line this time and showed that, yes, he can keep breaking that world record. He obliterated it, in fact.

Bolt ran 100 meters in 9.58 seconds Sunday at world championships, turning his showdown against Tyson Gay into a rout and putting to rest the questions that went unanswered last time he set the record — at his showboating Olympic run of 9.69 seconds.

Yes, he can do better when he goes all out the whole way. Yes, he can break 9.6.

It was the biggest change in the record since electronic time was introduced in 1968. It came very close to the 9.55-second time that an American professor said Bolt would have run in Beijing had he run all out in the Olympic 100 finals.

Under ideal conditions and facing the toughest competition possible, Bolt blew away his own world record by 0.11 seconds on the one-year anniversary of the last world record. Gay, meanwhile, set the American record by finishing in 9.71, a time that would have been a world record 12 months and one day ago, but was an afterthought instead.
