Michael Vick-toria Secretions.....

Looks like  Playgirl wants your boy to drop his pannie draws in return for a $1 million dollar donation to PETA....... I'm sayin, I'd look.....

Would $1 million entice Michael Vick to pose for Playgirl?

The magazine, which highlights nude males, offered the Eagles QB $1 million -- that it claims would be donated to the animal-activists group PETA -- if he agrees to a pictorial.

Playgirl spokesman Daniel Nardicio told Life and Style magazine:

" I sent the request to Michael Vick on Wednesday. But we haven't heard back yet. I figured he paid back society for dog fighting, but what about the animals?

"This way he could donate a large sum to PETA and all he'd have to do is pose for the magazine! It's kind of a win-win situation!"

Vick served a 20-month sentence for a federal dogfighting conviction before joining the Eagles last August.

He has since been working with the Humane Society of the United States to inform children about the dangers of the bloodsport. -- Sean Leahy

Mike Vick Wins Courage Award

Some good news for baller Michael Vick.

Vick won the Ed Block Courage Award, voted on by his teammates on the Philadelphia Eagles, months after his return to the field. Vick took a shall we say "hiatus" for 18 months in a federal prison for running a dog fighting ring.

The vote among Vick's fellow Eagles was unanimous. The Ed Block Award honors players who show commitment to sportsmanship and courage. Each of the 32 NFL teams selects a recipient.

Naturally, the PETA people had something to say:
The Philadelphia Eagles fumbled when they gave Michael Vick the Ed Block Courage Award, which was named after a man who advocated in behalf of abused children. Michael Vick should not be the person anyone points to as a model of sportsmanship, even though he has now exchanged dogs for touchdowns after serving time for extreme cruelty to animals. We wish him well in educating others, but this is not appropriate and does not mark a joyous moment in NFL history.
Vick has taken his anti-dog fighting message to schools through his work with the Humane Society. As an avid dog-lover, I hate what Vick did. But at some point, you have to move on, right? So, when will PETA follow suit?

PETA's Boy Talks To Kids About Dog Fighting.....

He seems sincere in what he's saying, at least to me anyway. But alas I'm certain there are still people who would rather see him bent over with a Jeep Wrangler shoved up his ass......... Oh well Vick, can't please everyone.....

Will You Watch?: Michael Vick Reality Show

Michael Vick is getting his own reality show. BET is adding him to the list (which includes the Emmy winning shows Frankie & Neffe and Tiny & Toya).

The LA Times reports that his eight-part reality show is slated to air early next year. The series is tentatively titled "The Michael Vick Project.” It will highlight his comeback to the NFL.

Producers say this will be more like a docu-series and not a reality show like that crap T.O. Show. "The Michael Vick Project" will also showcase his efforts to mend fences with his lady and his kids.

So, will you watch?

Brew Bits: Nike Marries Vick Again...... Sorta

But, they are only supplying him with product, no contract. I'm not sure if I get it then but whatevs! I guess it's a good thing for Mike as he continues to pick himself back up.....

NEW YORK -- Michael Vick is back with Nike two years after the company severed ties over the quarterback's involvement in a dogfighting ring. "Mike has a long-standing, great relationship with Nike, and he looks forward to continuing that relationship," his agent, Joel Segal, said Wednesday. Segal would not reveal terms of the agreement.

Nike, however, denied it had signed Vick to a sponsorship contract in a statement released to CNBC.
"Nike does not have a contractual relationship with Michael Vick," Nike spokesman Kejuan Wilkins said in the statement to CNBC. "We have agreed to supply product to Michael Vick as we do a number of athletes who are not under contract with Nike."

The supposed deal was announced during a panel discussion at the Sports Sponsorship Symposium by Michael Principe, the managing director of BEST, the agency that represents Vick.

Brew Sports News: Usain Literally Bolts! Michael Irvin Finna Dance and Vick Speaks.....

What does Usain eat/drink?? I want some! STAT! geesh! and I think I'm saying something as I huff and puff through my 3 mile run...... ha! Is there an underground running camp in Montego Bay????? I'm sayin......

BERLIN —Usain Bolt saved the celebration for after the finish line this time and showed that, yes, he can keep breaking that world record. He obliterated it, in fact.

Bolt ran 100 meters in 9.58 seconds Sunday at world championships, turning his showdown against Tyson Gay into a rout and putting to rest the questions that went unanswered last time he set the record — at his showboating Olympic run of 9.69 seconds.

Yes, he can do better when he goes all out the whole way. Yes, he can break 9.6.

It was the biggest change in the record since electronic time was introduced in 1968. It came very close to the 9.55-second time that an American professor said Bolt would have run in Beijing had he run all out in the Olympic 100 finals.

Under ideal conditions and facing the toughest competition possible, Bolt blew away his own world record by 0.11 seconds on the one-year anniversary of the last world record. Gay, meanwhile, set the American record by finishing in 9.71, a time that would have been a world record 12 months and one day ago, but was an afterthought instead.

Hooked on Phonics?

Oh, Mike Vick!

Yet another reason why excelling in the classroom is just as important as burning up the field when you're an athlete.

Michael Vick expressed his gratification to the Philadelphia Eagles for signing him this week. *smh*

Just watch and cringe…

Dirty Bird Headed North

Mike Vick is headed for the City of Brotherly Love, you know, Philadelphia...where they "boo" Destiny's Child, Santa Claus, then stab your fans in the parking lot? That place.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback to a 2-year deal. The first year is reportedly worth $1.6 million. The Eagles have a team option for a second year at $5.2 million.

Eagles veteran QB Donovan McNabb is expected to start this season unless Vick sicks some dogs on him. McNabb's backup had been Kevin Kolb, but he sprained his MCL on Monday.

"CMB, We All We Got!": Dungy to Mentor Vick

In true New Jack City, "CMB, We All We Got!!!" form....

Tony Dungy has joined the team that will mentor Vick back into top form as a player and as a person. Awwww, something about Tony Dungy has always made me feel warm inside (not in a sessy, I'm finna get randy way) just in a "wow that's a good man" kinda way. This is great news! Dungy wrote about it on his personal blog at allprodad.com

"My hope is that Michael continues on the course that he’s been on the last couple of months. I’m not sure what football is going to hold for him; that will be discussed at length in the sports pages over the next few weeks. I believe in second chances for people who admit their mistakes and are committed to changing. I think Michael deserves the chance to show people he has changed and learned from past mistakes, but my true hope is that he will make sound decisions about his future and, at the same time, let people know more about the person that I’ve come to know recently. I know the public will be skeptical, but I think, over time, people will find there’s a different side to him than what they’ve seen so far. And that’s really my goal, to help him let people see the other side of Michael Vick."

Vick Reinstated

Better start letting "King" sleep in the house cuz, Mike Vick is coming to a town near you. The NFL conditionally reinstated him. Vick can play in the final two preseason games but he won't be eligible to play in the regular season until Week 6.

Of course, everything comes with a catch: Vick's eligibility to play in Week 6 hinges on some hefty rules put in place by the NFL commissioner, including staying on good terms with his probation officer, staying away from any questionable activities off the field and positive reports from outside professionals (whatever that means).

Last week, Vick wrapped up a 20 month sentence for his role in a dogfighting ring.

In a statement, Vick said:

"I fully understand that playing football in the NFL is a privilege, not a right, and I am truly thankful for the opportunity I have been given."

Former Indy coach Tony Dungy will serve as Vick's mentor. Vick is free to sign with any team.

Now That Michael Vick Is Officially Ankle Bracelet Free....

what happens now?

Does he spend the rest of the week licking the NFL commissioners right butt cheek for entry back in the league?

Does he become a dog walker? Does he just chill on the computer machine all day and mack hoes under the screen name "MikeVick_mustlovedogs_69" (come on, any respectable man mackin hoes on the computer puts a 69 at the end of his name, it's only right).

I hope he can get his life back close to what it was before. We won't get into the right and wrong of the dog stuff, bottom line is he payed his debt.
