Brew Tube: Tasia Mae Can’t Buy A Pizza?

If you missed it, Fantasia dropped by the Harpo couch today and talked about her trials and tribulations (sidebar: isn’t that the most over-used cliché in the Negro community? Another blog… another day). Anyway, Tasia says she was so out of control, she missed Celie shows, packed on the poundage and then couldn’t even pay for a pizza.

BTW, I stan for Teeny… and those Louboutins she’s rockin.

Will You Watch?: Fantasia & Pepa’s Reality Shows

Apparently, anybody can get a reality show these days. We told you back in April that Fantasia was getting her own show and now that's closer to reality. VH1 plans to debut Fantasia For Real on January 11th.

The show highlights her life as an artist and single mother. But what perplexes me most is VH1's need to film the show's promo in a friggin nail salon.

                                    

Not to be left out is Pepa from Salt 'N Pepa... VH1's giving her a show too. It's called Let's Talk About Pep and will follow Pepa as she tries to find love after 4 years of celibacy. Geez, will it be porn? Her show also debuts on January 11th on VH1.

So... will you watch?

Talkin' Turkey with Tasia

A loud and angry protest broke out in the streets of Chicago Saturday but is wasn't over the snail pace in trying to pass President Obama's healthcare plan, or the lack of equal education opportunities in the hood. Your cousins got upset because Fantasia had the bubble guts and called in too sick to wash Mister's clothing on that fake porch that is The Color Purple set. Her management said she ate a bad turkey sandwich. Fans said they were told the American Idol alum would be a no show for both the afternoon and evening performance at the Arie Crown Theatre AFTER they sat down in their seats. The audience became even more heated when the management company only offered tickets to another performance instead of their money back. Do not play with Negrids theh-ta! That must have been some turkey sammich! I mean to call in sick in Oprah's hood? You know the Brewchie that signs your check. That's bold B!
