Have you seen the video for Wale's "Pretty Girls?" Well, the images in the video kicked off a firestorm of comments on Facebook and blogs across the innawebs. People are pissed that these so called "pretty girls" weren't plucked from more colors of the rainbow. Check the vid:

Seems like this is an age-old battle that's as old as the rap video genre itself.  But, do you agree with Joy? What's your call?

Ok I'm gonna just say this, stop the excuses when it comes to working out and getting your health in order. "Oh but my weave, oh but my right toe, oh but I want a sammich, oh but pretty girls don't sweat" just stop it! Pretty girls also aren't supposed to get outta breath trying to pick something up. Your goal doesn't have to be some stick figure that you know is not realistic, your goal here is simply health, not weight. That part will come when you start putting the health first. The hair thing, we must stop this as the excuse, take the weave out or get a style that is conducive to an active lifestyle (I have plenty of suggestions, you know Dr. Dubya got cha back!) Just don't let your hair make you fat. Manicures and pedicures, stop this as well, if you're not gonna groom yourself from the inside out then you don't deserve pretty toes and nails, harsh I know but I seriously can't stand to see obese women with adorned nails. Remember, inside out. Stop thinking that only the outside matters, do you really care about your french manicured toes if you generally feel like shit??? it doesn't make sense, just stop this behavior at once!

Eat sensibly, work out, laugh and love. Those are the things pretty girls do cause pretty girls wanna live long. Decide today that you will no longer settle for less then the best you ever.
