Brew Music News: Timbaland Is Back

Timbaland has taken a break from steroids flying under the radar and is putting his rapper/producer hat on for his third solo album, "Shock Value II." It's due out November 24th. The release will feature Katy Perry, Miley screeching cat Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, my boo Daughtry, The Fray, Keri Hilson, Chris Brown, Drake and a few others.

Oddly enough, the title for the song Chris Brown appears on is "Manic." Hmmm. The first release is called "Morning After Dark" and features SoShy.

Timbaland Accuses Jay-Z of Hateration in this Dancery....

Damn Jay, looks like you get 3 "Hateration in this Dancery" for this one......

And one lil Man Man......

Super-producer
Timbaland is revealing that he wanted Drake to have a complete verse on Jay-Z's 'Blueprint 3' album. The 22-year-old Canadian rapper lends his vocals to the hook of 'Off That' but leaves the rapping to Jay. Tim, who produced the track, approached the hip-hop star and suggested that Drake's feature be bumped up to a full verse but Jay seemingly shot down his idea. "To me we took [Drake] out of his element. But [Jay-Z] said 'that's good for him,' I said let's go back and get him in the verse ... but that ain't my project. If it was up to me to redo it, I'd redo it that way."

Despite only being featured on the hook, Drake was satisfied with the opportunity to work with his idol. "Jay is one of those guys that you can say, 'I look up to this guy,' or 'I like this guy's music.' I wanted to be Jay," he said. "To have that man in my life and to be able to interact with him and talk to him and, best of all, work with him .... There's not a real sentence I can say to describe it."

Fans itching for their Drake fix can check him out on 'The Blueprint 3' or pick up his EP, 'So Far Gone,' both in stores now.
