McClurkin Puts Black Preachers On Blast

Grammy award winning, We Fall Down singer and pastor Donnie McClurkin is shaking his head at some of America’s wealthiest preachers (ya’ll know he can prolly do a neck roll like a sista…but that’s another post for another day).

Anyway, McClurkin tells Essence magazine that pastors have to become servants to people from “all walks of life.” McClurkin said he gets p.o.’d when he sees preachers pushing Bentleys when their congregation is on Section 8 or can’t keep up their mortgage. Welllllll (said in my best Amen corner voice)! McClurkin went on to say:

I'm big on perception, and what would it look like for me to live so lavishly if the people in my church are struggling?

McClurkin serves as pastor of New York’s Perfecting Faith Church.

So, is he right? What’s your call?

Sister McClurkin is definitely right! It's shameful to say the least.
