Breaking Brew: Gatti’s Death A Suicide

Well ain't this a mutha? Brazilian police now say the death of boxer Arturo Gatti was a suicide and a court has ordered his wife be released. The 37 year old was found dead the weekend of July 11^th at a resort in Northern Brazil. His wife was accused of strangling him with her purse strap while he slept.

But, a coroner's report said that Gatti may have killed himself as he was found hanged and suspended. His wife's lawyer says the 23 year old could not have lifter her husband to kill him because she's just too petite.

The couple reportedly argued the night Gatti died. Sources say they had a volatile marriage. Gatti's family doesn't believe he killed himself.

Gatti leaves behind a 10 month old son. Sad. Just sad.

And now I can't use my "choking by purse strap is so gangsta" jokes anymore either.

RIP Gatti...may you find the peace you didn't have on earth.
