Brew Funny: SNL's "We Are The World 3"

Speaking of the craptastic "We Are The World" remake... the folks at Saturday Night Live seem to agree and came up with a 3rd version of the song, to apologize for the crappy 2nd version. And take a look at J-Lo's take on Rihanna.

Yes, that was Fonzworth Bentley way up top!

Jay-Z: Leave We Are The World Alone

Seems like Jay-Z is not on the “We Are The World” remake train.

In Case You Missed It

In case you fell asleep during the snoozefest winter Olympics opening, check it out.

Didn't hate it, at all. And, I kinda like the Uncle L (lookin' good too!), rap break... enjoy as Wyclef Yodels for his people.

Brew Quotes: Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne was invited to the “We Are The World” remake party. The Impregnator doesn’t actually sing, unless you call that sizzurp-tinged, auto-tuned, raspy thing he does when he says he wants to boink every girl in the world actual “singing.” So anyway, The Weezer does have a soft heart in there somewhere. Here’s what he said after he learned he’d be recording the lines originally sung by Bob Dylan:
"I've never been involved in anything like this. My attitude coming out is I feel blessed and I feel like I've done something today, and that's always a good day. I was like, 'What am I doing here?' I was like, 'You guys are real good comedians.' After I did Bob Dylan's part, it kind of hit me that I guess this is way more important than I could ever imagine."
- Lil Wayne
Jesus be a fence and don’t let Jamie Foxx try to do Ray Charles’ part.

Here’s a peek at the making of the new “We Are The World.”

"We Are The World — 25 For Haiti" airs on NBC during the opening of the Winter Olympics on February 12th.

“We Are The World” – part deux

The fact that it's been 25 years since "We Are The World" kinda makes me feel friggin' old. But I digress… here's the story.

Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie are convening a new crop of stars (many of whom weren't even around for the first song…another fact that makes me feel old) to do a 25th anniversary version of "We Are The World."

The singers taking part will stay an extra night after the Grammy awards to do the song in LA. So far, Usher, Natalie Cole and John Legend are on board.

The song is right on time since the people of Haiti can use any money raised by the sale of the song.

Aww, now I've got a case of the "I miss Michael Jackson" sads.

By the way, the Grammy Awards air on CBS, January 31 at 8 pm (ET).
