Let's just say there is a special place in hell for some folk. Police in Allendale, South Carolina are investigating whether a funeral home worker sawed off the legs of a 6'5" man to make him fit into his coffin. James Hines died from skin cancer in 2004. The funeral home assured his wife he would fit into the casket she picked out for him. What they meant to say was they would make him fit, do or die (pardon the pun). Police exhumed his body and said that there is a fair amount of "undesirable evidence" to confirm Mrs. Hines' claims. Cave Funeral Services is not commenting on the issue but trust and believe they are shook ones right about now.
