Countdown To Football Season

The clock is ticking, football fans. The 2009-2010 season officially kicks off Thursday night in Pittsburgh, when the Tennessee Titans take on the Steelers in what could be a tense game, after the Titans stomped on the Terrible Towels during Tennessee's 31-14 win over the Steelers in December. It was the Steelers' only loss in their last 10 games.

So, with the start of football season approaching, we here at the Brew wanted to share what we love most about the game.

San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman was arrested on suspicion of choking his girlfriend as she tried to leave his home. Merriman's girlfriend, Tila Tequila signed a citizen's arrest warrant today, charging him with battery and false imprisonment.

The team says it's monitoring the situation.

You'll recall Tila Tequila was the star of her own reality dating show on MTV, called "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila," where she searched for love among men and women.

I see she's back on the peen now though. Wonder for how much longer?!?
