Tru Blood Beverage

If there are two things we love around here at the Brew, they'd have to be blood orange soda and True Blood.

See, you were thinking we'd say peen and Indian Remy hair weaves, huh? Wrong!

Well, we heart
those things too!

Anyway, White Jesus really loves us, because the good folks at HBO are capitalizing on the show and combining our two loves into a real drinky drink! The blood orange flavored soda was announced last month at Comic-Con. Word is it boasts a tart, yet tangy taste and will be sold in a 14 oz. glass wide-mouth bottle to give it a distinctive look.

The Tru Blood drink hits the market this September. But you can pre-order yours by clicking here.

Wonder if they'll sell the man to suck on my neck too?

Good God Almighty!

First let me say, True Blood is one of the best series on TV right now. The Alan Ball (the man who gave us the awesomely twisty " Six Feet Under'') produced show is based (semi-loosely) on the the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Series and it is outstanding.
Humorous, gory, touching, and soapy-- if you like your vampires Vamp bad asses as opposed to sparkling like they have rolled around in a tub of Victoria's Secret body shimmer, this show is for you.
And then...then when you think things can't get any better. They give us Mehcad Brooks.

Oh, I'd be giggly too, girl!

Here's his face, if you insist.
