Paula Abdul got the green light from Oprah herself to tape a one hour talk show pilot for Oprah’s new network, OWN. The format will be a la Oprah’s own show, with celebrity guests and inspirational find your spirit kinda stuff.

If she’s gonna drink a can of crazy like she did before every Idol, then sign me up to watch this one too!

When the crazies come, you betta tell them to be quiet and go back into that little room in yo' head! Paula Abdul will probably not be returning to American Idol next season according to her manager. Ms. Abdul reportedly hoped to land a $20 million dollar contract but show producers only offered her $10 million. Meanwhile, Ryan Seacrest will be paid $15 million and Simon "Man-boobs" Cowell will earn more than $100 million (*blank stare*).

Paula Abdul is finally telling the truth and admitting a longtime addiction to painkillers. She tells the Ladies' Home Journal that she kicked the habit last Thanksgiving.

Abdul says she was on the meds because of several injuries (including a plane crash) that left her in chronic pain.
Abdul will perform her new song "I'm Just Here for the Music" on American Idol tonight.
