2000-Late Case #45544: The Cougar?

Is the Cougar so 2000-late? Carnival Cruise Line is nixing its popular younger man/older women "Cougar" cruises.The promoter in charge of the event says he can't believe Carnival is taking such a tough stance since everyone behaved themselves during the last event. He's now looking at other cruise lines to keep the cruises going strong (hee hee). Carnival told the Miami Herald that they made a decision not to have any more cruises based on this theme.

Is The Cougar So 2000-Late?

A new study finds relationships work better if the man is a little older and a little dumber than the woman.

UK researchers studied 1,500 couples over a 5 year period and found the most successful relationships were those where the woman was 5 or more years younger and more educated than her partner.  So, we've got it all wrong.  Instead of scouting the college campuses, we need to be at the nursing homes.  Dammit.  I've wasted years.

Anyway, Newsweek says the whole "cougar" game is just media-driven and will likely be extinct by next year.

What's your call? Are cougars here to stay? Would you start seeking older men to date?  Is age just a number?

Cougars Unite!

Ok so the former Mrs. 50 Cent is the host of this new Cougar show on TV land where they are trying to get an old, still well preserved biddy, a love connection. I assume Vivica is the host because they fancy her a cougar (if cougar means keeping your appointments with your plastic surgeon). I haven't watched, not sure I plan on watching either. I'm bitter as I am inching closer and closer to 'cougar' status and will not give an hour of my time to a show that highlights my sad state of affairs. If anyone watches and wants to chime in about it, please feel free.
