What Can Brown Do For You? Get You HIGH!

Police tried to get a UPS manager to turn snitch and help them intercept a package of weed. Instead, the UPS worker took the package and started selling that sticky green.

Atlanta police say Anna Wright stole the weed, sold it then lied to them about it.  Wright had been told the package could arrive for a particular mail box. And when it did...she pounced on it, rather than contacting the po-po.

The package contained several pounds of marijuana which Wright then sold.  She's now charged with making false statements to federal authorities and with distribution.  Wright faces 5 years in the pokey and a fine of up to $250,000.

Hey, can't say the girl wasn't enterprising.

Ex-Wife To Jermaine Jackson: Cut 'Da Check

Jermaine Jackson's former wife says she is in the po' house.  Alejandra Jackson says Jermaine left her so penniless that she's had to take supermarket gift cards from Katherine Jackson, just to feed her children.

Alejandra Jackson (who also has kids with Randy Jackson) filed legal documents in Los Angeles, claiming Jermaine is a deadbeat dad who owes $35,550 in court-ordered child support payments for their children, Jermajesty and Jaffar. Alejandra claims Jermaine lied about how much he makes.  Alejandra says Katherine Jackson knows how bad the kids have it, so she often gives them $300-400 in grocery store gift cards.

The Jacksons are expected back in court but no date has been set.

Brew News: Kwame In Trouble Again?

Kwame Kilpatrick, ownlee eue would find your name in the headlines... again!

The former Detroit mayor says he's cleaned up and is on probation in Texas. But, he's got 10 days to show and prove. Kilpatrick must hand over financial records to prosecutors who claim he's violated probation and is hiding money that should be in Detroit's coffers.

Since being booted from the Motor City, Kilpatrick has been working as a health care account executive in Texas. But, he's been seen driving in a Cadillac Escalade and living in a million dollar mansion. You know how we do!

Kilpatrick claims the Escalade was a gift. He's supposed to be paying Detroit $6,000 a month toward a million dollars in restitution that he was ordered to pay back.

HipHopWired reports Kilpatrick will appear in court on October 29th.

See fellas, see what happens when you send those penis texases?

Chris Rock Sued Over "Good Hair"

Chris Rock's documentary/comedy about black women and our hair is slated to hit theatres this weekend, but he's already been hit with a lawsuit.

Regina Kimbell claims she showed Rock her documentary "My Nappy Roots" back in 2007. Kimbell says Rock stole the hairy idea from her. Kimbell's 2005 film features celebrities who talk about famous black hairstyles. Kimbell is suing for $5 million.

Now that hurts like a fresh perm.

Beyonce Jacks Perfume?

Another day, another lawsuit for Beyonce.

Abercrombie & Fitch wants to stop Mrs. Carter from launching a line of perfume.

In a suit filed today in Ohio, A&F claimed the fragrance under the singer's "Sasha Fierce" label "poses a likelihood of confusion" with the retailer's own "Fierce" brand.

Beyonce plans to start selling the perfume next year, but A&F says confusion over the two frangrances could jack up control over their trademark.

But, Beyonce's partner-in-frangrance, Coty, says they don't plan to name the fragrance after B's alter ego anyway.

Sounds fishy to me. Would B steal songs and smells? Come on ya'll!
